Open Role Tango Festival is an encounter with the other — that other who, in many ways, is also part of myself.
Exploring a different role expands perception, opens new possibilities, and deepens both technical understanding and expressive freedom.

This three-day festival offers a safe and welcoming space to experience being the other, and from that exploration, to discover which role truly resonates with you — whether for a moment, a period of time, or a lifetime. The duration is not what matters; the experience is.

Through lectures and shared conversations, we will reflect on tradition, history, and the ongoing evolution of tango. We will explore the identity of each role within the tradition of Argentine tango — a dance that has grown, transformed, and expanded across the world.

There will also be dedicated spaces for practice, exchange, and celebration, culminating in a shared gathering where movement and community come together.

I invite you to be part of this experience — to discover yourself through the other, and to explore what it truly means to inhabit both roles.
